Understanding Condition Grading

Being clear about your CPU’s condition lets us provide an instant quote that accurately reflects the product’s value.

Functionality and Cosmetic Condition Drive Value

Below, we provide more detailed descriptions of how we grade products to determine their value. These images and descriptions outline most of the cosmetic conditions we assess, however, all parts must be in working order for us to offer compensation. We run extensive tests to ensure parts to pass all of our functionality tests. Any parts that do not pass functionality tests can be returned at customer’s expense or the current scrap price, at discretion of the customer. Parts in Fair or Poor condition will have a higher failure rate due to physical damage.
